Sudoku is a popular Japanese number logic puzzle game.

Sudoku gameplay

In Sudoku, the goal is to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers so that every column and row in the main grid and each 3x3 subgrid contain all the numbers 1 to 9. You are provided with a few starting numbers which ensure the puzzle has only one unique solution.

Thirdle and Sudoku

Thirdle shares the grid-logic puzzle design of Sudoku where you need to move tiles around a grid. Unlike Sudoku numbers, Thirdle crossword tiles can contain duplicates. Starting the puzzle with a few initial letters is also similar to Sudoku.
